I’ve often found the most indulgent aspect of arranging a photographic composition not so much the positioning of elements within the frame but rather the opportunity to create unquenchable wonder as to what lies just beyond it…
Without a camera lens through which to focus one’s thoughts, it is shamefully easy to deflect so much of life around us. But when the same scene is isolated from the rest of the world…viewed within a four-cornered construct that forces the channeling of focus inward…we are allowed, indeed encouraged, to wonder…
